It brought a strom surge of water that has not been seen since the great hurricane. There was devestation in most of the marinas and all along the coast. Many people lost homes, boats and lives. The eye of the storm passed over Kemah and Legend Point Marina. We glided past the Boardwalk raised the sails and caught the wind. You could not have asked for a more beautiful day on the bay. We sailed to Redfish Island and dropped the anchor and watched the ships go by.

A really fine lunch was served. After every one was full we pulled up the anchor and sailed back to Kemah. A fantastic time was had by everyone.

Here's a look at some singles groups near kemah.

The boat traffic by the Boardwalk and in the channel was heavy. There was a very nice breeze and once we were out of the channel we raised the main sail then rolled out the jib for some exciting sailing. For awhile we had the rail in the water. Everyone had a great time. Steve surprised Kathy with a sail on Lookimg Bay. The wind was giving us a cool breeze to keep us confortable and move Barefoot Babe through the water nicely. We headed out across the bay towards Redbluff Pt. Steve was at the helm and after a couple of lessons he held a course lake a true Captain.

Captain Caleb taking his work seriously! I think Capt. Caleb wanted to take the big leather teething ring home with him. We got out there and rolled out the jib and found that the wind was very light. We had a nice cruise at about 3. Looking another tack and chag we sailed past the Boardwalk, under the bridge and to the slip. So we trained two new "Captains Austin and Kate". They both momms the boat very well and found some wind that made for some nice sailing.

Captain Austin finding the wind.

Matt and Natalie Kate is the Captain now!!! The wind was not cooperating as it should and we cruised along at about 3 knots. So we went on a Dolphin watch and found a pod out near the ship channel. The Dolphins brought us some wind and we were able to get some good sailing in. Everyone got to be the Captain and take the helm.

All the Captains are still trying to decide who got the boat up to the fastest speed. I think that this might be decided later over a beer. Everybody had a great time sailing on Galveston Bay. Thanks for the pix and the wonderful sail. Elaine and you are excellent hosts and especially patient with children. Everyone is ready to book another sail for next year.

The wind was light for most of the sail but the beer was plentiful and cold. Now the conversation on the other hand was a little warm ;- and Captain Jim enjoyed all the new stories. We were able to find some wind and got in a some nice sailing. Everyone had good conversation and a great time just being together out on the water. We had the most amazing time.

Looking forward to the next trip! We took a little swim and grilled chicken and burgers for lunch. Raised the main sail and then rolled out the jib for some fine sailing. We sailed across the bay a few times marking future anchorages. We then sailed to Redfish Island and dropped the hook anchor and had a very good lunch. After lunch we pulled the anchor and headed back to the marina. We had wind that varied from 14 knots to 24 knots. We cruised the bay with Capt. Stefan and Capt.

Mike at the wheel. After sailing the bay we dropped anchor in Clear Lake for a swim. I had a very relaxing time being the "deck lizard".

It was a real pleasure meeting you and Elaine. I look forward to sailing with you all again in the near future. Charisma Fantastic fireworks show over the bay and the hundreds of boats at anchor. The best seat in on the witg for the Friday night fireworks blast on Galveston Bay. Alicia loved the sea. We found a beautiful spot, dropped anchor and gathered at the rear of the boat.

We performed a small memorial service with a celebration of life. With a prayer and rose petals we sent Alicia to the sea. We say goodbye to Alicia, beloved Mother and friend. Everyone had alot of fun and enjoyed the ride. You have a very nice boat and are very friendly to talk to. So again thanks for the great time. They even fed the Captain. Happy Birthday June We really enjoyed sailing with you and and do want to sail again.

We anchored in the Gulf and honored Tom's life. We then pulled up anchor and sailed back through the jetties and around all the ships that were anchored. There were lots of Dolphins to escort us back to Galveston Island. We will definitely be back for another trip. I have attached a photo of you and the girls as well. We put our Pirate Captain A. The fog lifted fast and the day turned out beautiful for sailing. Al kept wanting to get lost and end up in Mexico. We loaded up and sailed by the Kemah Boardwalk and started the parade by throwing Christmas be to the crowd. We then found a place to tie up in the channel to watch the parade.

And Capt. We are 13 members to talk, discuss may questions, and share our snacks and thoughts. Captain Jim Dobbins is a great professional and friendly facilitator. There was a fantastic sunset as Wayne tried to catch it in his hand. The distance is aproximately miles. It was a great race with speeds reaching over 10 knots during the night. Our starting time was pm Thursday and we rounded the 6 channel marker at Port Aransas Friday morning at am. The crew consisted of Capt. Jim, Jim B.
